EDUCATION
Education
Through our interviews with them, we learned that each of these garment workers from the provinces has dreams and a sense of purpose. However, due to family pressure and a lack of motivation or direction, many give up on their studies. This education program offers them a second chance to pursue their dreams and goals.
It’s not easy—they must balance earning money for their families while continuing their education. It takes perseverance and determination to overcome these challenges. Therefore, this program is to provide them with the opportunity to continue their studies through classes, high school catch-up courses, and university programs.
Through these efforts, we believe they will receive a solid education, break the cycle of illiteracy, and pass on the value of learning to the next generation.
HCW has the following educational programs to give opportunities to factory workers so that they can continue their education through classes, catch-up programs and universities.
